Nat armor and weapons

Download DownloadMirror 1 | Mirror 2

It’s been a while since I released a new mod, and with a bit more free time at work recently, I thought I’d create a small Halloween gift for everyone. This mod adds Ash’s NAT armor from the game OverHit, available in three variants that differ in color and stats. One is light armor, while the other two are heavier and visually distinct.

Getting the pauldrons to display correctly in-game was quite a challenge, but I’m happy with how they turned out.

The armor is primarily designed for male characters, but since it covers the entire body, I believe it should also fit female characters well.

Along with the armor, there’s a greatsword that originally came with three different textures. Rather than simply making three versions of the same weapon, I gave them different shapes. So, in the final mod, you’ll find a greatsword, a regular sword, and a dagger.

Since the armor and weapons are fairly powerful, they come with a higher price in-game. You can purchase them from Varnado at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Market District. If you enjoy the mod, please feel free to download it and leave a comment. Have a great Halloween and happy gaming!

Musa Armor

Download Download

A little over 3 years ago I asked Farlibarcai to port this Musa outfit from BDO, partly because I didn't have access to the original models and above all because, let's be honest, I was lazy and it was nice to have someone else do the dirty work in my place.

Back then, however, I didn't have a suitable character for wearing this kind of outfit so I decided to store the files on my hard drive and wait for the right moment to dust them off. It seems that that moment has finally arrived. My most recent character Mana is the perfect actor for sporting oriental style clothes thanks to his Akaviri social and cultural background.

Of course I wanted to add my personal touch to the outfit and, after fixing some clipping issues here and there, I embellished it with a shamisen and two katanas. The final design is hopefully a good mix of Chinese, Korean and Japanese elements. Only one katana is functional, the other one is part of the scabbard and it's there only for aesthetics. The Lotus Shamisen was made by DaveGouge in Maya and can be found online.

This mod can also be considered sort of a testing subject. In fact I've been experimenting with NifSkope properties in the attempt to implement animations and special effects, even though the game's engine does not support animations for skinned meshes. As expected some properties work effectively whereas other don't. The alpha transparency controller for example works like a charm and allowed me to make the body tattoos glow at regular intervals. Simple animations such as rotating meshes instead, despite being displayed correctly in NifSkope, will glitch like crazy in game (possibly a problem on my end).

Nonetheless I used a workaround to incorporate a rotating arcane glyph in the shoe file. The transparency may act up when you look at the glyph from certain camera angles but overall the result is acceptable and gives the outfit a magic vibe. By the way, while the shoes are equipped a dedicated script will boost sneak, athletics and acrobatics by 2 points each.

Lastly, I attached a Mini Musa to the katana. It doesn't do anything special, it just floats around your shoulder, but it's really cute. It comes from Fiesta Online and it's similar to Chakaru's Mini Lich. I retextured its face to make it look even cuter. I like to think it's the spirit of a warrior defeated in battle that dwells in the sword.

On a side note, this armor was specifically made for Mana, who will be released later as a playable race, therefore it only includes a SLAth body option. It comes with two variants: one is fully clothed, the other one is shirtless leaving half of the torso and the tattoos exposed. The set can be purchased from Maro Rufus at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Market District.

Room207 Prince of Persia 2008 v2.0

Download Download

This is a revamped version of my Prince of Persia outfit which aims at improving some details such as the necklace and the hood (which will now fit a wider range of head meshes, including FFHead). It also adds a SLAth option of the armor for characters with a less muscular build. You can get it from Maro Rufus who sells light armors and weapons at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Market District.

Bless Dragonsword

Even if this is not a Christmas themed mod I made it as a small gift for Christmas. It adds the Dragon Sword from Bless Online in 3 variants, 2 of which are enchanted and have a simple particle effect. The weapons can be purchased from Rohssan at A Fighting Chance in the Imperial City Market District. Enjoy the happy days and Merry Christmas everyone!

Bloodborne Weapon Pack

This weapon pack was supposed to be my Halloween gift but unfortunately I couldn't complete it within the deadline. It adds a set of weapons ported from the game Bloodborne. Items can be purchased from Maro Rufus at the Best Defense in the Imperial City Market District. The robe in the pictures is my Gold-Hemmed Black Set.

Time Lord Staff

Download Download | Mirror

The Time Lord Staff is an enchanted artifact that allows the player to summon a powerful creature from a different time and space. Said creature is none other than Ifrit from Final Fantasy XV and will appear shrouded in flames and wielding his majestic sword. The artifact has a nice animated effect and can be purchased at Rindir's Staffs in the Imperial City Market District.

This the first time I make a custom summonable creature and my scripting knowlegde is very little, so don't expect anything sophisticated. The script is very simple: upon summoning him, Ifrit will fight for you for 5 minutes using his sword and casting fireballs. His sword is unbreakable and comes with a fire damage enchantment. Ifrit's health will go down and won't refill until he gets killed, so if he takes damage his life gauge will stay the same in bewteen summons. I could easily change that in his script but I actually like it the way it is. By talking to him he will switch between wait and follow mode. I made a short video to show his fighting skills, I gave him the same stats as a summonable Xivilai, I hope he's not too overpowered...

Summon Vampire Marek

Requirements: OBSE v0021 | Blockhead (optional)
Download Download | Mirror

Marek is a summonable vampire companion based on Kiki's Summon Vampire v2.01b. His summon spell can be obtained by reading the creepy grimoire found in the basement of Seridur's House, in the Imperial City's Temple District. When you first try to read the book a mini event will start and you will be asked to spill a few drops of your blood on it; don't burn the book as you won't have a second chance to get the spell. The grimoire is Marek's in-game manual so don't forget to pick it up.

Marek can fight using 6 different styles or classes: warrior, hunter, mage, thief, healer and martial artist. All fighting styles have their own separate inventory and separate equipment and you can customize armor and weapons of each single class indipendently. Each fighting style also has its own special abilities and you can bind a key on your keyboard to manually activate them; please refer to Marek's in-game manual or talk to him to learn how to properly set and use the action button; the action button can also be used to toggle between the stay and follow commands. You can check his status via dialogue anytime.

FEATURES
Marek has many useful skills. More specifically he can:

  • automatically repair his broken equipment if you place a repair hammer in the same inventory where the broken piece of equipment is;
  • automatically recharge an enchanted item if you place a Welkynd Stone in the same inventory where the item to be recharged is;
  • share food, drinks and repair hammers with you as long as he has enough items in stock (his supplies will be replenished gradually);
  • turn precious stones and ores that you trade with him into soul gems;
  • see in the dark (night vision);
  • carry a torch in the dark for you;
  • carry a black crystal during the day to protect himself from the sunlight;
  • create a magic sack that will reduce your encumbrance with the nirnroots that you trade with him;
  • shift his moral alignment from good to evil and viceversa (the change will affect his strength in battle but people might become hostile);
  • disperse the red mist that surrounds him;
  • transform you into a vampire and feed you with blood.

PLAY AS MAREK
Marek's custom race is flagged as playable so you can roleplay him if you like. Please note that if you want him to look like in the pictures you'll have to reset his face in the race menu. And also keep in mind that, Blockhead installed or not, you'll have to manually add his armor, weapons, alternate outfit and demon's body parts to your inventory via console.

Here's a list of Marek's belongings with the corresponding console codes. Replace XX with the proper modindex. A modindex is a two-digit number which reflects the position of a mod's esp/esm in your load order. OBMM can help you identify the correct modindex.

INSTALLATION
Download Summon Vampire Marek by Room207 (Mirror), unpack the archive and copy SummonVampireMarek.bsa and SummonVampireMarek.esp to your Oblivion data folder (copying SummonVampireMarek.pdf is optional and doesn't affect the game).

N.B. This mod requires OBSE and Blockhead in order to work properly. If you don't want to use Blockhead you can add Marek's body parts and alternate outfit to your inventory using the console.

 KNOWN BUGS AND ISSUES
  • Marek is fully voiced, however his voice was generated with an online text to speech program so it doesn't sound natural. If anybody would like to offer their service for free and do the voice over, please email me and add some sample of your voice where you read any of his dialogue lines;
  • if one places a carrot in the martial artist's inventory Marek is supposed to fight barehands. Unfortunately the script seems to act up, irremediably causing a crash to desktop. Since I'm not competent with scripting, help to fix this would be appreciated;
  • likewise, if you place an apple in his martial artist's inventory he's supposed to hold the black crystal in his hand for screenshooting purpose. I've never tried this myself but I bet a crash will occur instead;
  • repeatedly switching between stay and follow via dialogue will cause a crash to desktop. This is not crucial since it can be easily avoided, but if anybody can find a fix I would be very grateful.
This mod has not been tested thoroughly so please feel free to report any bug that you might encounter.

Crimson Thorn - バラの花びら

Download Download | Mirror

This is an edited version of the rose staff from Aion with a nice particle effect emitting glowing rose petals. The staff is enchanted with a powerful AoE spell that will paralyze the enemies nearby, slowly absorb their health and eventually capture their souls (if the caster has a suitable soul gem in their inventory of course). It's a God item and using it can be considered cheating, however it won't make you invincible. This was a test to prove that it is actually possible to attach magics that absorb the target's attributes to a staff. In fact the Construction Set would normally prevent that, the game was designed with that limitation, but I found a work around. The staff can be purchased at Rindir's Staffs in the Imperial City Market District.

Malik Armor and Sword

Download Download | Mirror

I ported this armor a long time ago with the intention to release it as part of Constantine's unique equipment. However there's no chance I can complete that project anytime soon, and since this armor has been sitting on my hard drive for a while I have decided to finally share it. It comes with the matching sword and a mask which takes the amulet slot. When the mask is taken off a second instance of it can be equipped on the belt. There's a copy of the armor adorned with a fang-shaped pendant necklace. The set can be purchased in Leyawiin from Tun-Zeeus at The Dividing Line.
