Eli

This is my main Character, Eli Bosco. I've been pretty happy with his face for a long time but lately I've been feeling like he's missing something, so I have decided to change his hairstyle to something more eccentric. Now I'd love to give him some nice and unique facial feature. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Background story:

Eli is about 20 years old. He was raised by his grandfather, an old fisherman from Anvil, so he spent most of his childhood and adolescence out in the sea, at the harbor and at the fish market. Later his grandfather became ill but before he died he revealed Eli that he had an older brother called Kyle. At this point Eli left Anvil and started a journey to uncover his origins and find his brother without any clue, except knowing that Kyle has a feature called heterochromia, meaning that his eyes have different color. It is unclear whether the old man was actually Eli's grandfather or not. Eli also has a girlfriend named Lavinia who is about the same age.

Remodeled Iron Armor for Bodybuilder by Room207

Download

I have finally finished remodeling the iron armor. I can't believe I'm done with it, it took ages!!! And I think that was mainly due to a lack of inspiration...
The final result is not as good as I expected, there are many things I don't like in this set... the cuirass is terrible in my opinion, but somehow I couldn't get it to look better. When I posted the WIP picture I actually received positive comments and yet there's something that bothers me in this model. Well, hope you guys like it nonetheless!

Ophiuchus - The serpent holder

Download | undersunandsky

According to Wikipedia:

Ophiuchus is a large constellation located around the celestial equator. Its name is from the Greek Ὀφιοῦχος serpent-bearer, and it is commonly represented as a man grasping the snake that is represented by the constellation Serpens. Ophiuchus was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations. It was formerly referred to as Serpentarius, a Latin word meaning the same as its current name.

I made this as a gift for Max who is always very kind to me. It's a very simple outfit featuring a big serpent coiling the body and a pendant with the Ophiuchus symbol carved on it. The necklace also works as seam concealer. This comes in two variants: one for the muscular and one for the scrawny body. I din't make the serpent, I got it from a mod called Blackmarsh Maiden. I don't even know who the author is, so I cannot give proper credit; and as long as I don't have his/her permission I need to limit the redistribution of this mod by password protecting the download. All I can say is that the password is written here in this post, but you can't see it...

You'll find this costume in a small container among the tombstones of the Green Emperor Way, just outside the Imperial City Palace. The chest is placed against the corner of a short wall fencing one of the burial areas, there's a statue surrounded by columns right in front of it. The picture below shows the exact position of the chest on the map.

Northern Lich Armor for Bodybuilder 2.0 by Room207

Download

This is my Northern Lich Armor for the bodybuilder body. I made this mashup long ago and I never had the time to upgrade it to Robert Male 5.2. I thought I had to remedy this so I have spent all the weekend working on it. And since just replacing the body underneath the few armor pieces wasn't ok with me, I decided to add something new. I think the straps around the chest and the fur skirt give this armor a much better look than the previous release. I had a very hard time with the transparency of the skirt; somehow I couldn't get it right although I've been working a lot with transparency in the past, fixing uncountable hairs for my Comprhensive Cosmetic Compilation. In the end I found a way to workaround the problem and I managed to fix the skirt. I have made an image that shows the exact location of the armor in game. It's in a chest placed on top of the entrance to the Ayleid ruin of Ninendava, near the statue. The ruin is northeast of Chorrol and hosts a vampire coven, so it's better not to venture inside...

Blender Portable by Room207

Download

A Portable copy of Blender 2.49b bundled with all the required librairies to work with nifs. I asked Hashmi to update this with the latest components but he never replied, so I learned how to do that by myself. This comes as a 7zip archive so you can carry it with you anywhere. I also included the necessary plugins to import/export .geom (useful for converting hair from The Sims 3), .mesh.ascii and PSK/PSA files.

Component details:

- Blender 2.49b
- Python 2.6.6
- Pyffi 2.1.11
- NIFscripts 2.5.9
- True Normals by Anthony D'Agostino
- Geom Plugin 0.5
- Mesh Ascii Plugin
- UDK Scripts
- Blender Tools 1.01 by Kormgar aka gerra6
- Blender TRI file scripts and Tutorial by Kapaer and Deedes

Credits go to Hashmi and the creators of X-Blender (winPenPack team). I have no merit except updating this with the latest version of Python, Pyffi and NifScripts. Special thanks to Kormgar for his scripts.

Remodeled Steel Armor for Bodybuilder by Room207

Download

Here's my second stock armor conversion for the bodybuilder body. I have completely remade the chest, thighs and upper arms and added a chainmail underneath the armor. I tried to be as much accurate as possible with the rigging, so there should be no major clipping issues. The one part I don't like is the plates on the sides of the hip, which bend unrealistically with the legs, but besides that I'm quite satisfied with the result. Since male and female characters share the same meshes for the steel armor a plugin - included - is required to replace the meshes only for the men. Oddly enough, this doesn't look that bad on the girls anyway...

Animation tester

Download

I made this mannequin to test custom made animations in nifskope. I also use it to test armor rigging and see if there's clipping to get rid of. It is based on Robert's male body 5.2 muscular and Growlf's universal skeleton so you can attach any animation to it. In order to do so open the mannequin.nif with NifSkope, then click on Spells/Animation/Attach .KF, select a .kf file of choice and press the play button if the animation hasn't already started. A few animations from Robert are included. Textures are included, too, click on Render/Settings/Auto Dectect Game Paths if they're not visible. You can replace the body meshes with female ones if you like. And here's the best tutorial to learn how to make custom animations and poses for Oblivion in Blender.

Head Replacer and Steel Armor WIP

I've been working on this for about a month now... very slowly. Like I said the mesh is derived from the default head. Why not from Head06? Well, I thought it was more challenging to attempt at getting something good out of the low-poly vanilla mesh. I have made fitting eyelashes for the new eye shape and the texture has finally eyebrows. In this picture I've put together some random faces I made on the fly. I have decided that the final texture set will also include new age maps and some of them, featuring beard, will be specifically designed for the guys (the one with the goatee and the scar is infact an age map I normally use for my character Raoul). Hopefully making good-looking men will be easier eventually...

This is my other WIP: a remodeled steel armor set for the bodybuilder body. I had planned to release it this week but I'm afraid it won't be possible: tomorrow I'm going on vacation... I did my best to finish this by today but I still miss the upper arm pieces and it's never good to rush things. I'll release it when I'm back in September... Even though this is taylored on a heavy muscled body it looks surprisingly good on ordinary characters and women - arms apart - too. The part I like the most is the legs, I think I did a good job on them!

Head WIP

I've been sluggishly working on a new head mesh and texture. The mesh is derived from the default head, I tried to give the nose a better shape and deeper nares. I also fixed an uv map issue in the region between nose and mouth. As for the texture I put more focus on the eyes, I still need to work on the eyebrows, though. The result is pretty good even though it's not a high-poly mesh like Head06, it works fine both with male and female characters. Since I've changed the shape of the eyes I'll have to make fitting meshes for the eyelashes, too... those in the picture are visibly offset.

Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria V1.1 OMOD

Download

Brittany has recently updated her Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria  and I was asked to update the OMOD versions as well. It took me some time to finish this because Brittany has changed installation and folder structure, so I had to re-write the script from scratch.

Download

This is my first stock armor conversion for the bodybuilder body. Like I said in a previous post, I've always been bothered by the look of the glass armor in vanilla Oblivion, so I thought I could romodel it a bit in the attempt to make it look better. I'm very satisfied with the result, it looks cool to me! I know that many people won't agree and will complain about my choice to leave critical parts of the body (e.g. the abdomen) uncovered and thus unprotected, but I also think that bodybuilders would probably be proud to show off their six pack, ahahah!

Room207 Bodybuilder Body 5.2

Download

This is my bodybuilder body replacer v5.2. It is already part of Robert's Male Body Replacer v5.2 OMOD, but I thought it was good to make a standalone version including only the core files. I'm going to convert some of the stock armors to this body and release them omce in a while.

In this video I'm showing my bodybuilder Raoul flexing his muscles. I made this video long ago, it's a bit repetitive and the location is nothing special, but it's funny at least. The song is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Daft Punk.

Glass Armor Remodeled WIP

I took a few screenshots to show my new WIP, a reworked version of the glass armor for the bodybuilder body. Many will agree with me if I say that the glass armor is one of the worst in the game. I mean, just look at it, it's ugly!!! Since I had to convert it to the bodybuilder I thought I could remodel it a bit and make it more pleasent to look at.

The first thing I remade were the bracers. I didn't like the original ones so I used pieces from the boots. Bodybuilders are supposed to show muscles so I shed the chainmail armor. Now I'd like to add a breastplate but the pieces I have are not good for that. If I have some good idea about the chest I'll go for it, otherwise I'll leave it like this. The tasset is shorter and I added a body section from the abdomen to it. The belt is from the female version of the armor, I like it better. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the boots, I might leave them the way they are or make them barefoot to give the armor a gladiator look... I don't know.

Oh, I almost forgot... the pictures are taken at the harbour in Leyawiin, added by the Russian mod Cyrodiil Rebuild. This mod is awesome! It expands the outskirts of the towns. Someone should translate it to English, it's simply great!

Hair request from Adinio

Download | undersunandsky

This is hair 103 by Raon. After releasing CCC 1.8, I had promised myself not to convert hair from the Sims anymore. However, this hairstyle is very nice and I couldn't resist. This conversion is a gift for Adinio but I'm sharing it with everybody. All you need to do is find the password of the archive!

Orsimer Overhaul released

Download

I have finally released my Orsimer Overhaul! It's a mod that gives a new head mesh and a detailed face texture to the Orc race.

The new head is derived from the default one but I have altered the geometry significantly: jaw and chin are wider and better defined, and more importantly the forehead is not flat anymore. The shape is now close to the human head, this means that all the hair packs made for humans and elves are now compatible with Orcs, too. Of course I have reshaped Orcs' hairs to fit the new head.
A full set of male and female age maps is included. While drawing them I tried to stay as close as possible to the original ones.
Generally I'm quite satisfied with the overall look of this mod; it is simple, though it took some time to be completed. I'm offering it as a resource so those who are interested can freely use it in their mods.

Comprehensive Cosmetic Compilation 1.8

Here's the latest revision of my personal cosmetic mod. It includes almost all hair and eyes I have collected/converted/fixed throughout the years. Since archive was huge so I had to split it in several smaller 7zip files which can be extracted separately to your Oblivion's data folder, although all of them are required for the mod to work properly.

CCC 1.8 - Eyes
CCC 1.8 - Hair Meshes 1
CCC 1.8 - Hair Meshes 2
CCC 1.8 - Hair Meshes 3
CCC 1.8 - Hair Textures
CCC 1.8 - Plugins
CCC 1.8 - Readme

Alternatively you can just grab the hairs you like and compile them yourself in you own cosmetic mod. Robert's male body replacer is required. Full chart by Skoomy.
